    You are a Mortgage Professional that understands the valuable role the Funding Coordinator plays in the mortgage lending process and you take that responsibility quite seriously. As a Funding Coordinator, you are responsible for working with the Closer, Settlement Agent and Warehouse Bank to facilitate the funding of each loan. The monies are sent to the Settlement Agent and used to disburse the loan according to the signed Closing Disclosure. The Funding Coordinator must be able to work in a pressure-filled environment while maintaining a service-focused attitude.

  • You will need 1+ years of mortgage processing, closing, post-closing or other directly related experience a plus.

  • This role has been categorized as an Office position. "Office" employees regularly work at an existing ZG corporate office for approximately 80 to 100 percent of their time each month. Employees must live within reasonable commuting distance of their designated ZG office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $ $32.40 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

    Who you are

    Our Funding Coordinators initiate the wire that is used to disburse the loan funds then review and approve the executed closing documents. These tasks facilitate a stress-free closing for our borrower.

  • You will review closing documentation and validates data within our Loan Origination System (Encompass)
  • Initiates wire for release to the settlement agent.
  • Ensures that management has been notified to approve wire and provides follow-up to confirm release.
  • You will review and approve signed closing documents notifying settlement agent of approval to release funds.
  • Register loan in the MERS system.
  • Pay all funding fees and mortgage insurance to FHA and VA as required.
  • You will work with other roles within Post Closing to allow for the timely completion of all daily duties.
  • You will maintain company service level and turn-time standards; specific measurable include return-call times, return-email times, and task completion times
