    Exceptional Education Support - Paraprofessional

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate paraprofessional to provide exceptional education support in our elementary schools serving grades K-6.

    Salary Range:

    The salary for this position is based on the instructional assistant salary schedule and work experience, resulting in an estimated $35,000 - $55,000 per year.

    Job Description:

    This full-time nine-month contract role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or relevant coursework in early childhood education. Prior experience in a related field is preferred, and successful candidates must meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama state regulations.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide individualized support to students with varying needs and abilities.
    • Assist teachers with lesson planning, implementation, and data collection.
    • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a collaborative learning environment.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
