    Description


    Reporting to the Tax Senior Manager and supporting all Controllers overseeing tax processes for all entities by interpreting tax regulations, completing or reviewing tax returns and ensuring compliance.

    ResponsibilitiesReview and manage the preparation of tax work papers for partnerships and small Corporations.

    Review and manage the preparation of the internally prepared federal, state, local and special tax returns for management companies, small fund entities, and Fund GPs.

    Manage the renewal, application and clearing processes for the Keystone Opportunity Investment Zone program.
    Review and manage the preparation of quarterly REIT testing workbooks.
    Review and manage the preparation process of quarterly tax estimates for Funds, ICP partners, and management companies.
    Respond to tax inquiries of investors.
    Comply with federal, state, local tax requirements; advising management on needed actionsTrack tax returns and filing dates.
    Review externally prepared tax returns.
    Supervise the process for handling all tax notices.
    Provide IRS/state audit updates on a monthly or more frequent basis when applicable.

    Work closely with the CFO, tax senior manager, tax senior, tax associate, and internal controllersQualificationsStrong communication skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.

    Advanced knowledge in the taxation of pass-through entitiesDetail oriented.
    Able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks and demands.
    Must be able to work independently and effectively under pressure.
    Must be able to work with high powered professional team.
    Dedicated, able to handle confidential and sensitive information, approachable, professional and have a strong work ethic.
    Proficient with advanced Excel operationsProficient in tax preparation softwareEducation / ExperienceBachelors Degree in Accounting3 to 5 years' experience in Public Accounting, with a strong focus in real estate and private equity preferablyExperience with partnership tax returnsCPA a plus
