- Cell culture, in vivo models, biochemical assay development and execution
- Translate basic research findings into early-stage drug discovery programs
- Establishing a cardiac transplant model in rodents to look at the effect of the immune system on transplant efficacy.
- Establishing a new lab that involves purchasing equipment and reagents, animal husbandry and developing standard operating procedures.
- PhD in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field, and/or an MD degree
- Expertise in biochemistry, including protein purification, and molecular and cellular biology. Expertise in animal husbandry and transplant surgical procedures in rodents.
- Proficient knowledge of basic laboratory techniques including safety procedures and techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally

$70,000 to $100,00
