    What we are looking for:

    Stem Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain team is seeking a motivated, experienced and result oriented Logistic Manager to develop and implement logistic strategies. This role will oversee all aspects of material shipments including battery energy storage systems and its components. This manager will focus on optimizing the transportation activities with cost effective delivery solutions while meeting the customer expectations. This key role is heavily involved in managing or monitoring goods movement with suppliers and work closely with Freight forwarders, Freight Brokers, and 3 PLs.

    This role will be working closely with Sales, Service Operations, and Deployment teams to provide transportation cost estimate for project bid and assist with project deployment, and ensure their needs are managed and the aligned targets are achieved.

    Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement logistics strategies and oversee overall transportation activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of orders
    • Evaluate and select qualified and reliable transportation and warehousing providers and responsible for negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms
    • Subject matter expert of domestic and international shipping
    • Work closely with freight forwarders and brokers to ensure efficient operations and compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including international regulations related to harmonized codes, import /export tariffs, customs, and regulation of transporting hazardous material shipments.
    • Lead weekly Supply Chain meeting with project managers to update shipment status against open POs with estimated arrival dates, and provides inbound/outbound tracking with related documents to support project deployments
    • Collaborate with PM, Sales and Operational teams to optimize supply chain processes and establish standard policies and procedures for transportation operations
    • Confirm services received related to transportation and warehouse are in compliance with executed agreements
    • Record receipts, update and maintain company's physical inventory tracking at each of 3 PL facilities
    • Work closely with Account Payable to review freight and warehouse related invoices, address invoice discrepancy, monthly accrual and analyze expenditure
    • Carry out other duties as assigned
    Required Experience & Education:
    • General knowledge of renewable energy and energy storage businesses preferred
    • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain required
    • 7+ years of logistic experience dealing with Freight Forwarder & 3 PLs for domestic and international shipping and 3rd party warehouse management required
    • Contract management and negotiation experience strongly preferred.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Strong logistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience with procurement transaction through Netsuite system preferred
    Salary Range
    $83, $117,250.00
