  • Busy outpatient and inpatient practice. 1:7 call at one hospital with experienced cardiology APPs and Hospitalist/Intensivist support.

    As a Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients. You will diagnose and treat various medical conditions, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and contribute to the overall well-being of patients. As a physician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients within the scope of your qualifications and experience. Principal responsibilities will include the clinical care of patients within a physician led, patient centered team based environment, where the focus is on the provision of high quality, value based care. Key responsibilities
    1. Patient Care
    2. Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments
    3. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients
    4. Prescribe medication and other appropriate therapies
    5. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
    6. Perform medical procedures and surgeries when necessary
    7. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
    8. Provide patient education
    9. Communication
    10. Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues
    11. Documentation
    12. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in a timely fashion
    13. Clinical Expertise
    14. Stay current with latest medical research, treatments and technologies
    15. Participate in CME and peer review activities
    16. Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
    17. Work collaboratively with Advanced Practice Providers
    18. Participate in the education of clinical learners (residents, APP students, etc)
    19. Quality and Safety
    20. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
    21. Ensure safe care is provided to all patients
    22. Ethical and Professional Standards
    23. Adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards of medical practice
    24. Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy
    25. Comply with all relevant laws and regulations. Qualifications
    26. Doctorate MD or DO from an accredited medical school required
    27. Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
    28. Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;
    29. Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ( DEA ) registration;
    30. Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system
    31. DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required
    32. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence based medicine
    33. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    34. Compassion, empathy and a commitment to patient-centered care
    35. Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
    36. Commitment to ongoing professional development and CME. Working conditions

The salary for any part time position will be adjusted according to the full-time equivalency of the position.
