    Seeking an EHS Manager for a leading global food manufacturer based in Evansville, IN.

    The ideal EH&S Manager has at least 5 years of HSE related management experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably food manufacturing environment) or equivalent. You have well-developed people skills with the ability to engage and promote individual ownership and accountability. In addition, you are a strong team player with leadership skills.

    What you will do:

    Lead and maintain the safety program and will work closely with the Plant Manager and all Departmental Managers to implement, monitor and audit company's ESH policies. Promote effective internal communication and will coordinate data collection, analysis, and reporting.

    •Ensure that the facility and all employees are in compliance with all State and Federal regulations

    •Follow and support all Company Safety, GMP and HACCP policies

    •Conduct safety training for new employees

    •Organize annual safety training for all employees, to include Accident prevention, Protection, Emergency Evacuation, LOTO, and facility inspections

    •Develop and conduct new training programs as needed

    •Complete OSHA forms and reports

    •Conduct incident investigations & complete Risk Assessment

    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • OSHA and EPA exposure
    • Experience in safety or environmental management.
    • Experience in managing sustainability agenda.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective training.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Risk assessment abilities and continuous improvement mindset.
    • Advanced technical skills in word processing and database applications (SharePoint, Microsoft products, portals)
    • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
