Prepares, packages and sterilizes all reusable medical supplies and linens used by Providence Health System, Everett. Collects, cleans, disinfects, inspects and sterilizes surgical instruments and other medical equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited sterile processing program.

* within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association. Or
* within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.

• Completion of Central Services Technician or Surgery Technologist training program or similar Central Services, Surgery or patient care work.
