    Utilize various tools and methodologies in understanding needs to ensure alignment between learning objectives and operational strategies, as well as design programs, develop content and deliver training modules.

    Formulate training policies, programs and schedules, based on knowledge of identified training needs and company services; coordinate training activities so as not to conflict with operational schedules.

    Leverage experience in terminal operations education, instructional design and program development to design and develop curriculum and programs that maximize learning and behavioral advancement, taking advantage of technology and blended learning approaches when appropriate.

    Train all newly hired/transferred team members in relevant topics, including but not limited to:

    General stevedoring operations training
    Terminal operating systems training
    Maersk values & culture onboarding
    Terminal orientation of facility & key stakeholders


    Collaborate with Senior Management Team to create a development plan for staff, and drive execution of the plan on a continuous basis.

    Evaluate training requirements and make recommendations to ensure compatibility and effectiveness within the terminal organization.

    Train assigned instructors and supervisory personnel in effective techniques for training, such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, health and safety practices, supervisory development, and adaptations to changes in policies, procedures, and technologies.

    Maintain records and prepare statistical reports to evaluate performance of training activities and instructors, and to monitor progress of trainees.

    CRITICAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

    Necessary to perform the requirements of the position:
    Education

    – Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience of five (5) years.

The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally noisy.
    Must be able to work variable shifts including evenings & weekends.

    Support Terminal for all operational training requirements

    The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
