DFT Engineer - Phoenix, United States - Mastech Digital

Mastech Digital is hiring a DFT Engineer for one of their prestigious clients in Phoenix, AZ.

Location - Onsite in Phoenix, AZ (Selected candidates will be working 5 days per week onsite). Prefer Local Candidates to apply who can work onsite from Day 1.

Relocation assistance - There is no relocation assistance provided for this role.

Duration months contract to start with.

Responsibilities:

Work with the Silicon teams to document the DFT specifications & define requirements.

Develop & implement DFT architecture and infrastructure and drive execution of enhanced DFX (DFT/Design-For-Debug) methodologies, with increased focus on debug support.

Work with the Development team to verify DFT implementations.

Generate structural test vectors, analyze and improve coverage/test time/test cost.

Work with designers on STA, physical, power and logical issues impacting DFT, with test engineer to bring up test vectors on silicon, and with lab bring-up teams to bring up test vectors in the lab environment.

Manage schedules and support internal and external cross-functional/cross-organizational engineering efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

4-7yrs of experience required.

Knowledge of industrial standards & practices in DFT, including ATPG, JTAG, MBIST & trade-offs between test quality and test time.

Experience in developing DFT specifications.

Knowledge of industry standard DFT & design tools.

Experience in debugging ATPG/MBIST patterns.

Knowledge of STA constraints & interaction with DFT.

Education:

Bachelors degree / Masters Degree.
