- Evaluate patients and collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care plans.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs and clinical assessments.
- Identify patient needs and determine care priorities through comprehensive assessment processes.
- Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients, conducting initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessments based on patient problems, medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions to promote patient recovery and well-being.
- Manage the care of patients, ensuring adherence to standards of care and practice.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of innovative care delivery practices.
- Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
- Fulfill any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the healthcare facility.
- Minimum of 2 years prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience working in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a major acute care hospital setting is required.
- Strong background in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
- Willingness to care for ventilator patients.
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, care planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic clinical environments while ensuring high-quality patient care delivery.
- Current RN licensure and compliance with all relevant certification requirements.
