    Lead Project Manager

    Location; Newport Beach, CA (hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week)


    JOB DESCRIPTION

    The Lead Project Manager manages multiple work streams / projects by aligning project schedules, critical milestones, risks, issues and dependencies and all supporting documents at a program level.


    The Lead Project Manager will provide support to the Transformation Management Office (TMO) with a matrix line into the TMO Program Manager and will lead, facilitate, and influence project sponsors and stakeholders, and collaborate with core project team members in the successful completion / implementation of projects/programs as defined by the business case.

    Establish and maintain integrated program level project plans, report progress as required, generate risk assessments, escalate issues, and facilitate project review

    presentations/meetings

    by collaborating / partnering closely with work stream and project level project managers.
    Identify key interdependencies across the program work stream and adjacent programs.
    Design dashboards and other program reporting to be leveraged by the Transformation Management Office, project sponsors and Program Steerco.

    Possess a high-level understanding of the new Oracle cloud suite and data governance best-practices to help prioritize work efforts, identify key dependencies and merging risks.

    Work with all levels of management / multiple stakeholders including senior leaders, operations, business analysts, change management resources and business staff on assigning tasks, establishing project / program deliverables and scheduling of those tasks and deliverables.

    Design dashboards and other reporting to communicate program, issues, risks, and dependencies.
    Develop, foster, and manage relationships with project / program sponsor(s) for the purpose of influence in effective decision making.

    Contribute to thoughtful and creative discussions with project / program sponsor(s), department and division management on resource and scheduling, plans, and challenges.

    Partner and assist management with the utilization of resources for project / program planning activities across the enterprise.
    Analyze project / program data on assigned projects for efficiency gains and make recommendations to management based on findings.


    QUALIFICATIONS
    Experience with Finance transformation across multiple Divisions / stakeholders.
    Experience specifically with large scale ERP financial systems implementations of Oracle Cloud


    ERP:
    Oracle Financial Services Accounting Foundation Cloud Services (AFCS)
    Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub
    Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) - specifically the general ledger
    Oracle Cloud EPM Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS)
    Oracle Cloud EPM Account Reconciliation (ARCS)

    10+ years progressive experience in project/program management with demonstrated experience at a program level.
    PMP and / or Scrum certification preferred.

    Highly skilled in Project Management tools, specifically Smartsheet, ADO, and MS productivity tools (i.e., MS Project, SharePoint, Teams, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Visio).

    In-depth knowledge or experience within Insurance or financial services, and experience with Accounting & Reporting is a strong plus.
    Leadership skills and strong interpersonal skills (exhibit poise and exercise diplomacy in communication, ability to influence others toward consensus, conflict management and decision-making. Strong in critical thinking, data analysis and reporting, risk and controls, and process improvement).

    Must be a self-starter, have demonstrated experience in a lead role, be well organized, effectively managing their time and be a strong leader who can adapt rapidly to new developments and changing priorities.

    A bachelor's degree in business administration, Technology, CFA, CPA, or other relevant study, or equivalent experience.

    Majority of stakeholders are based in California (PST time zone), preference to have candidate located in Orange County, CA as physical presence would be very helpful in follow-ups, relationship building, and meetings.
