- Work as a Systems Engineer and Technical Assistant (SETA) to the Government
- Provide Systems Engineering support to processing acquisitions for key space assets
- Coordinate regularly with development contractors to manage and resolve technical and programmatic deficiencies, ensuring government stakeholders are satisfied with contractor performance
- Utilize organizational and communication skills to clearly and concisely present information, ensuring the government and all stakeholders are kept informed of system status
- Manage the drafting and refinement of non-earth imaging requirements for automated processing
- BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
- Thorough understanding of GEOINT processing systems
- Thorough understanding of non-earth imaging principles and processes
- Experience drafting and managing Systems Engineering requirements, including waterfall and agile methodologies
- Understanding of Electro-Optical and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Mission Processing systems
- Experience assisting the government with acquisition processes and documentation for small and large-scale software development contracts
- Strong presentation, oral, and written communications skills, including the ability to produce clear, logical, and concise products
- Proven organization and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to interface effectively via written and oral forums with personnel at all levels of government
- Experience with commercial Atlassian tools (e.g. Confluence, JIRA) or ability to learn quickly
- Experience with Systems Engineering and acquisition documentation, such as Requests for Proposals (RFCs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Requests for Change (RFCs)
- Knowledge of SAFe or Agile frameworks
- Experience with Systems Engineering risk management, architectures, and verification/validation (V&V)
