    A manufacturer in Medford, NY is looking for a Human Resources Manager to join their team. This person will be responsible for managing Human Resources Programs, Benefits Administration, Payroll process and Continuous Improvement processes, amongst other responsibilities.     Responsibilities

    • Responsible for managing the various Human Resources programs and procedures for all company employees.
    • Leads the talent acquisition process, including; sourcing, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants. Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Establishes and track hiring data and reports on results.
    • Conducts new-employee orientations; administers pre-employment tests; conducts reference checks, and maintains applicant and current employee EEO records.
    • Leads the benefits administration process, including claims resolution, approval of invoices for payment, distribution of annual employee notices as required and assisting with benefits reporting requirements. This includes but not limited to: Medical, prescription drugs, dental, STD/LTD, 401K, and others.
    • Manages and tracks employee leave of absence process, provides information to employees regarding the Family Medical Leave Act, NYS Paid Family Leave, and Disability benefits.
    • Manages the Compensation Policy adhering to the Pay Transparency Law.
    • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
    • Prepares the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP). Assures all Human Resources transactions and record-keeping are maintained.
    • Conducts exit interviews. Prepares analytics to develop and execute retention plans.
