    About the Job



    As a Medication Assistant, you will be part of our dedicated team that provides exceptional care and support to our residents. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a dynamic long-term care environment.



    Duties and Responsibilities:



    • Serves as caregiver who provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of charge nurse

    • Assists with basic health needs including daily activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing and vital signs monitoring

    • Provides support with meals preparation while ensuring positive dining experience for residents; assists with laundry duties

    • Cares for non-invasive body fluid specimens collection ; administers medications according assigned licensed nurses' orders & protocols    Participates in state-mandated competency testing annually demonstrates record keeping accuracy assesses progress maintains confidentiality always follows applicable infection control policies regulations appropriate procedures standards during work hours ,;
