    The Contract Analyst is responsible meticulously examining and analyzing contractual agreements to ensure accuracy, legality, and alignment with organizational policies.

    The role involves a detailed scrutiny of contract terms, conditions, and associated documentation, with the aim of identifying any discrepancies, risks, or areas for improvement.

    II) Essential Functions
    A) Review and analyze contractual agreements for legal and regulatory compliance, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
    B) Identify, assess, and collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to mitigate potential risks associated with contract terms and conditions.
    C) Verify the accuracy and completeness of contractual documentation, including supporting materials.
    D) Ensure precise reflection of financial terms, timelines, and deliverables in contracts.
    E) Collaborate with legal, procurement, and business development teams to clarify contract details and address discrepancies.
    F) Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and concerns related to contract terms.
    G) Ensure all contractual activities adhere to laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
    H) Prepare detailed reports on contract review findings, including recommendations for improvements and modifications to enhance clarity and effectiveness.
    I) Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to contract management.
    J) Contribute to the development and enhancement of contract review processes and templates.

    III) Knowledge of Laws, Regulations, Policies/Procedures, Skills, and Abilities
    A) MHMRTC Operating Procedures
    B) Medicaid Rehabilitative Service Rules and Regulations
    C) HHS Community Standards for Behavioral Health Services
    D) CCBHC, CARF, and NCQA Standards
    E) Knowledge of Texas Standards of Service for Addiction Treatment in Adults and Adolescents
    F) Texas Administration Code related to LIDDA and LMHA.
    G) Knowledge of HIPAA and FERPA.
    H) Knowledge and understanding of the Texas Mental Health Code.
    I) Texas Laws Related to Mental Health.
    J) Excellent planning skills such as scheduling, logistics and organizational communication to effectively plan, promote and execute an event.
    K) Multi-tasking skills-capable of handling many tasks at once and not losing attention to detail.
    L) Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
    M) Team-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills.
    N) Ability to follow directions, interact with stakeholders and partners, understand and to follow procedures and to accept constructive criticism.
    O) Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    P) Ability to prioritize workload and be self-directed.
    Q) Ability to demonstrate professional knowledge and operational expertise within designated area of program focus.
    R) Analytical skills must understand and follow medical record and diagnoses, and the required elements necessary for contractual compliance.
    S) Detail oriented. Must be accurate when recording and correcting patient information.
    T) Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance.

    A) This position has extensive internal and external contact. The employee will accomplish this with excellent verbal and written professional communication skills.
    V) Travel
    A) Adhere to MHMR Mileage and Travel reimbursement policy and any other aspect regarding travel.

    VIII) Agency Requirements
    A) All staff are required to participate in agency Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Safety programs and may be assigned by their department as a key/essential staff level function during critical events or for the purpose of sustaining business continuity.
    B) This position may require temporary or permanent re-assignment to any MHMR Tarrant facility as determined by program needs and/or the Division/Director.
    C) Assigned work hours may change as the needs of the agency change.
    D) The Functional Title of this position may change as the needs of the agency change.
    E) All work will be completed within the scheduled work hours.

    All non-exempt (hourly) employees are expected to clock in and clock out for each work shift, no work should be done off the clock.

    F) MHMR reserves the right to change, add to or eliminate positions as it deems appropriate.
    G) Employment is at will, as well as agency needs may change.
    H) Agency dress code is to be followed at all times.
    I) Physical on-site presence, including regular attendance and punctuality, is an essential function of this position.
