This position, reporting to the US and Canada Director, Structured Finance, will analyze project acquisitions, assist in the structuring and execution of recourse and non-recourse financing, and monitor investor compliance and insurance requirements of our existing portfolio.
Job DescriptionAssist with:
Developing and maintaining pro forma financial models for wind and solar energy projects with accompanying assumption support and document review.
Preparation of due diligence materials and offering materials for debt and tax equity transactions.
Review of, documentation of structured or project finance transactionsSupport of Power Marketing team in bid pricing analysis for RFPs and bilateral negotiations for with potential off takersMaintaining valuation models both at project and portfolio level to track business unit and overall firm valuation, cash flow potential and tax positions.
Maintaining letter of credit tracking and maintenance recordsPreparation of monthly operating reports for tax equity investors.Providing support to Asset Management function.
Participating on cross-functional project teams as needed.
Required Skills and CompetenciesBachelors degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline.
MS Excel ExperienceFamiliarity and/or interest in financing structures and banking or energy/utilities sector is preferred.
Demonstrated ability for strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all staff throughout the Company and work as a team player.
