    KIND OF WORK:

    This is difficult and advanced field and office inspectional work in supervising the enforcement of codes and ordinances which govern plumbing and related installations.


    JURISDICTION YEARLY RATE
    MOBILE COUNTY $57,166 - $91,388


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, supplemented by two years of trade school or college course work in plumbing and a minimum of three years' experience at the level of a Plumbing Inspector II; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.


    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
    Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence. Possession of a current Master Plumber certificate issued by the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board.
