    Job Summary

    This 12-month position will be based at our Gainesville Behavioral Health Center, with opportunities to work in schools during breaks. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will provide individual counseling, diagnostic assessments, group therapy, and family counseling to students. You'll work closely with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to create a supportive environment that fosters academic success and emotional well-being.

    Requirements

    • Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
    • Eligibility for Associate License in Georgia (LAMFT, LAPC, or LMSW) within 6 months of hire
    • Minimum qualifications include a Master's Degree in a relevant field, with some experience in counseling or a related field
    • Preferred qualifications: Full licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW

    Salary and Benefits

    The estimated salary range for this position is $38,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short/long-term disability, and 401(k) matching. You'll also enjoy 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year, 9 paid holidays, and one floating holiday.
