    As a market leader in mobile wireless solutions, Qualcomm has been instrumental in enabling best-in-class Wi-Fi solution to mobile phone, compute, consumer electronics and access point segment.

    Next generation Wi-Fi solutions will drive lower power, ultra-low latency and higher throughputs to enable best in class user experience for mobile phone and enable new XR use cases.

    As a business development and product management Director/Staff in for Qualcomm Compute & Consumer Connectivity (CCW), you will define and drive a comprehensive connectivity product strategy for consumer, compute and XR platforms, engage with key customers, develop ecosystem for the CCW products, drive business development for the new technologies and initiatives.

    As a leader you will be responsible for profit and loss management for CCW business segment(s), including roadmap definition, engineering execution and delivering to the yearly revenue targets.


    Additional responsibilities include:


    Driving business development plans with regional sales teams and personally driving adoption of new technology initiatives at the wider ecosystem.


    Identifies gaps in market based on complex analyses of market, customer, technology, and other ecosystem demands to define next generation products.

    Leads team collaboration in the creation of business cases and validates cases for development of a new, complex product to meet overall business direction


    Markets new and complex products and technologies through technical and business marketing opportunities such as conferences, congresses, and direct customer contact and drives product launch efforts.

    Prepares and delivers highly complex technical presentations regarding a product roadmap that explains and demonstrates products managed to customers.


    Translates customer feedback and external environment into potential changes for the differentiated product roadmap and communicates this to senior leaders.


    Holds self and team(s) accountable for remaining up to date on competitors, technological advances, and the product ecosystem and ability to articulate differentiation of products to customer and identify trends.

    Initiate programs to create demand and differentiation, then manage the programs to completion and Track success in the market


    Making decisions that are significant in impact and highly complex that typically results in significant expenditure of time, resources, and funds.

    Driving Wireless ecosystem development with key MNOs, OEMs and wireless module makers across the globe


    Using deductive and inductive problem solving; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or conflicting; advanced data analysis and interpretation skills are required.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.

    5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Seasoned strategic partnerships / business development executive with 15+ years-experience in the high tech space

    Must have expertise in wireless connectivity (WiFi/BT/BLE/5G) and Audio technologies

    2+ years negotiating 3rd party business agreements.

    3+ years working in a large matrixed organization.

    Proven track record of delivering a strong ROI on large platform products

    Experience working with ecosystem partners in the wireless space including MNOs, module makers, service providers

    Proven track record in managing consumer electronic OEMs for wireless technology products.


    Exceptional communication skills with an ability to quickly establish credibility and positive influence across a diverse array of technical teams in multiple geographies.

    Experience in managing on the overall silicon manufacturing process

    Pay range:
    $191, $287,500.00

    The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.

    Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.

    We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
