Responsibilities
- Build one-on-one mentoring relationships with students that help them grow in confidence leadership self-sufficiency create engaging group sessions where students try new activities learn life skills celebrate their strengths amplify youth voice through leadership councils agency-wide events partner with schools families community members support student success develop facilitate engaging group sessions focused on emotional economic self-sufficiency using Girls Groups curriculum standards provide supportive case management for students who may need extra assistance assessment planning advocacy referrals crisis response ensure that students have meals supplies transportation so they can fully participate in programs events lead teams interns specialists volunteers provide coaching growth development team members building skill celebrate progress stay connected university supervisors foster positive team dynamics weekly meetings collaborative energizing facilitate training onboarding intern-staff meetings share knowledge passion collaborate interns projects site visits helpful feedback inspires growth confidence contribute agency-life events celebrations outreach storytelling highlight impact community actively staff programming supervision ideas collaboration participate outreach efforts share Girls Groups impact newsletters engage fundraising strengthen community keep accurate organized records program attendance applications documentation actively contribute staff programming supervision ideas collaboration support agency-wide special events plan setup bring positive energy team participate outreach efforts share Girls Groups impact newsletters engage fundraising strengthen community
