    Description
    _This is a temp to hire position_

    *Responsibilities

    • Safely and efficiently operate equipment
    • Blueprint reading and fit-up skills
    • TIG weld with sheet metal and light plate
    • Perform all required quality checks to ensure parts meet customer requirements
    • Using the correct measuring equipment and tools to perform quality checks
    • Maintain and store all tools and inspection tools
    • Optimize each process to produce the most efficient and productive process possible
    • Maintain fixtures
    • Perform daily/weekly machine maintenance
    • Participate in continuous improvement processes
    *Requirements

    • 3+ years of TIG welding experience with sheet metal and light plate
    • Ability to read blueprints
    • Ability to perform basic math skills (fractions, decimals)
    • Ability to convert metric to imperial
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds
    • Must have own tools
