- Current Massachusetts RN license; BSN Preferred
- Labor and Delivery experience required
- Mother/Baby or postpartum experience required
- AHABLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire
- NRP required
- Documentation of AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Course or NCCEFM certification required within 3 months.
- OR Circulating & Scrub experience preferred
- Experience working in continuing care/special care nursery/NICU environment preferred

UNIT DESCRIPTION:
The Birthplace is a 12-bed, private room, labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum unit that includes a nursery staffed by obstetricians, certified nurse midwives, pediatricians, neonatologists and registered nurses.
Registered nurses are required to demonstrate competent care of the patient in labor, delivery, postpartum and newborn advanced fetal monitoring, breastfeeding education, neonatal resuscitation certification, advanced life support certification, and the OR scrub and circulating roles.
