Responsibilities

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a leading mental health agency. Our programs use evidence-based treatment models that have been proven effective in improving outcomes for troubled youth and their families.

• We offer intern placement with a specific program within each office, determined during the interview process based on current availability, student experience, and academic requirements.
• At the Master's level, graduate students can:
• Shadow counselors and learn from experienced professionals
• Assist with clinical assessments and documentation
• Learn clinical documentation and electronic medical records systems
• Carry a reduced caseload, implementing family, individual or group therapy
• Participate in treatment team and consultation meetings as well as receive individual supervision

We serve over 43,000 kids annually throughout 27 states, with more than 4,500 skilled support staff providing our services nationwide.

This paid internship opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, you must be pursuing a Master's degree in the Social Service field.
