- Proactively build relationships with all HR leaders in the field
- Maintain, update, and make recommendations on all HR policies and procedures
- Conduct trainings as required
- Coordinate new Director of HR onboarding plan execution and facilitate training trip to corporate office
- Have a pulse on the organization and associate temperament through HR colleagues
- Advise on processes related to the performance management and employee development to field leaders
- Provide advice, answer questions, and counsel HR leaders, General Managers, and managers regarding associate relations matters, policies, and federal, state, and local employment labor laws with legal guidance
- Advocate for DEI initiatives and participate in the Corporate Engagement Committee & Associate Advocate Council
- Understand basic compensation philosophy of White Lodging and applicability of policy
- First retrieval of incoming situations via the Anonymous Alert Line and Intranet
- Project management skills to lead company-wide initiatives
- Manage and maintain data of HR processes at the corporate office, including compliance (i.e. I-9s, exit interviews, management progressive discipline, PIPs, and associate relations)
- Respond to associate reviews on Glassdoor and Indeed
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to travel as required up to 20%

The Senior HR Business Partner is eligible to work a hybrid work schedule - two to three days in the corporate office in Merrillville, Indiana and the remainder remote.

Provide HR guidance, analyze metrics, resolve employee relations issues, and work with managers to improve work relationships, associate engagement, and productivity.
