- Primary responsibility of the position is to conduct tests of materials from product development trials or materials analysis and lead teams as needed for larger scale projects.
- Safety Leadership-Learn and follow all lab and plant safety regulations. Sustain lab, and surrounding areas, cleanliness and organization using 5S and other Lean methods
- Accountability- Provide input toward the creation and development of SOP's.
- Teamwork-Provide data collection support on production trials as needed. Assist in moving qualified trial materials to active production if the product meets customer CTQ's
- Communication- Documents observations in conducting testing and trials
- Problem Solving-Record and sometimes interpret results to present to senior colleagues. Use computers to perform mathematical calculations and data collection for the preparation of reports and graphs.
- Empowerment-Seek out opportunities to be cross trained on utilization of all lab instruments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using lab instruments listed in the table below and perform tests to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations.
