    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist for a day shift role in the Pittsburg, KS area, requiring at least 1 year of recent experience and BLS certification.

    Responsibilities

    • Home health setting with a geriatric patient population
    • Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
    • Territory covers up to a 60-mile radius from office hub
    • Average caseload is 5-7 patients per day
    • Requires experience with HCHB EMR system
    • No on-call required
    • Locals accepted at travel rate
    • Timely communication and documentation are required
    • Dress code requires scrubs in any color, no jeans
    • iPad provided for documentation; cell phone use is not permitted
    • Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

    Requirements

    • Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
    • Minimum 1 year of recent home health experience
    • Current BLS certification
    • Experience with HCHB EMR required
