    Description

    Senior Accounting Analyst

    We are working with a local Richmond company in their search for a Senior Accounting Analyst. This company is a solid, stable organization that is highly visible in the Richmond area, and their growth has been exponential recently This role provides ample opportunity for learning and development with a path to leadership. The ideal candidate would be a strong accountant who is looking to add more financial analysis to their skillset.     Responsibilities:

    • Complete monthly journal entries and variance analysis.
    • Conduct general ledger reconciliations and monthly financial reviews.
    • Prepare financial packages for executive team and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
    • Ad hoc projects as needed
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
    • CPA designation preferred, but not required.
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and efficiency.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
