This well-established, state-of-the-art, 500-bed acute care hospital is looking for a permanent, full-time Med Tech.
Job Description:
Performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of the clinical laboratory
Assists in instructing other personnel as assigned
Performs with a perceptive depth of clinical laboratory tests and procedures which require the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Show competency in performing testing procedures
Effectively use laboratory equipment
Perform and evaluate Quality Control Program
Assist with laboratory training program
Requirements:
Associate s Degree
NCA, ASCP, HEW or AMT certified
1 year general lab experience or equivalent clinical laboratory training program
