    Responsibilities:

    Ready to make an impact Peraton is seeking motivated Satellite Operations Controllers in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to support our Front Range Operations and Sustainment Team (FROST) program, and to provide satellite support service to our mission critical Government customer

    FROST conducts real time on-orbit support, launch ascent support and End-of-Life operations for all NOPS supported operations. You will provide the NRO with a single operational and engineering interface to the Satellite Control Network (SCN) and perform Facility duties as required. Most of the work is performed at Schriever Garrison. This position performs satellite operations and health checks on satellite systems.

    • Establish voice, messaging, and data communications for multiple-satellite programs of varying priorities and classifications.
    • Configuration and monitoring of displays for computer and network equipment during normal mission operations.
    • Multi-program coordination and scheduling using custom software tools.
    • Determination of any anomalous condition and providing corrective actions as required.
    • Generation of downtime reports and other associated documentation for operational outages.
    • Support to various operations status, engineering review, and problem boards.
    • Identification of areas of concern, issues, inefficiencies, and other non-value-added activities, as well as proved recommended solutions, as appropriate.
    • Some travel may be required.
    • Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
    Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED and five (5+) years of related experience with Satellite Operations, including military or civilian training and experience
    • Must have an active TS/SCI with a POLY

    Desired Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of related experience with Satellite Operations, including military or civilian training and experience
    • Ability to solve complex problems in a challenging and dynamic environment
    • Analytical skills and the ability to perform assigned technical tasks
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

    Target Salary Range:
    $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
