    Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

    Location: Bastrop, Texas

    Job Type: Contract Position

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to work with students in a school located in Bastrop, Texas.

    The successful candidate will assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team. They will also develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students, while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans.

    This is an excellent opportunity to establish a positive learning environment and provide response to intervention for the needs of each student.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assess, screen, and evaluate students' communication skills
    • Develop and implement IEPs for students
    • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure effective implementation of care plans
    • Provide response to intervention for students' needs

    Requirements:

    To be considered for this position, you must have:

    • A Master's degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor's degree
    • A Texas SLP License
    • American Heart Association BLS certification
    • School experience preferred but not required
    • ASHA Certification

    Compensation:

    This is a contract position offering a competitive hourly rate of $44-$47.50 per hour, plus a one-time assignment bonus of up to $3,000 *conditions apply*
