    Job Description

    The Software Developer position will support the Sensors and SONAR Systems Department of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Newport which is responsible for a full spectrum of engineering and research efforts pertaining to Sensors, SONAR, Undersea Warfare and Autonomous Vehicles. This position will involve the development and maintenance of databases utilizing MS Access and other system tools. The Software Developer will run and update reports as needed and provide maintenance support for the Inventory Management System.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in software development/information technology discipline
    • 2-4 years experience in the software development field
    • Experience building and maintaining MS Access databases
    • Experience with Inventory Management System maintenance
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Thrives in a team environment
