Job summary
The Lake Cumberland District Health Department is accepting applications for one (1) full time HANDS position. Based on experience and qualifications, the position can be either a Family Support Worker I, HANDS Specialist I or HANDS Public Health Nurse I.This position will be based in Taylor Co.
General Duties include: Conduct regularly planned visits to establish a trusting rapport for eligible HANDS families; Assist parents with child development,
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial home visit following Parent Visitor assessment;
- Provide regular planned visits to establish a trusting relationship;
- Maintain confidentiality of program information obtained from home visit/s;
Skills:
- Must have telephone accessibility
- Must have reliable transportation;
