    Job Description
    We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Stepdown/Med Surg unit.

    This unit comprises of 20 beds and requires proficiency in managing a diverse range of patients, including those with respiratory issues, weakness, urinary tract infections (UTIs), acute kidney injury (AKI), and chest pain.

    Responsibilities

    Provide patient care with a focus on stepdown requirements.

    Administer and titrate medications including Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, and Amiodarone.

    Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry readings.

    Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, including the Charge Nurse and House Supervisor.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

    Previous stepdown experience is a must.

    Must hold a valid nursing license.
