Job Title: School Social Worker

Location: Kingston, PA

Job Description: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Social Worker to join our team in Kingston, PA. The School Social Worker will provide essential social and emotional support services to students within the school setting, addressing barriers to academic success and promoting overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop intervention plans
Provide individual and group counseling services to students
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students' social and emotional development
Implement strategies to address behavioral and mental health concerns
Connect students and families with munity resources and services
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other multidisciplinary team meetings
Advocate for students' rights and access to appropriate educational opportunities

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
State licensure as a Social Worker (LSW or LCSW) in Pennsylvania
Experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders

State Licensure Requirements: Candidates for the School Social Worker position in Kingston, PA, must hold a valid licensure as a Social Worker (LSW or LCSW) issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
