    THE POSITION

    Position: Senior Manager Talent Acquisition, CROWN Cork & Seal North America

    Team: Team of one recruiter, and support from an HR Coordinator

    Reports to: Vice President Human Resources North America

    Location: Tampa, Florida

    Travel: Domestic and international travel requirements are approximately 20%.

    The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading and executing the recruitment strategy to attract, assess, and hire top talent across all departments within CROWN North America and for International Mobility. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources Officer, the Senior Manager will play a crucial role in shaping CROWNs workforce and driving organizational success.

    The position is based in Tampa, Florida and requires a candidate with a minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic, yet hands-on Talent Acquisition or Recruitment leadership roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

    The objective of the role is to take a leading role in shaping CROWNS talent acquisition strategy, fostering a culture of excellence in Talent Acquisition, Employer Branding, and International Mobility management. The key responsibilities of the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition include:

    Recruitment Leadership

    • Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including branding, attraction, resume screening, interviewing, assessment, interviewing, decision making, offer negotiation & onboarding.
    • Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans aligned with the company's objectives, growth plans, and workforce needs.
    • Develop a high-performing talent acquisition organization, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of recruitment goals.
    • Collaborate closely with CROWNs Divisions, Department heads, and Hiring Managers to understand their talent needs, workforce planning, and recruitment priorities.

    Employer Brand Awareness

    • Develop and execute strategies to enhance the company's employer brand awareness in the talent market.
    • Collaborate with global peers and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across recruitment channels.
    • Ownership of Crowns Career Site.
    • Leverage employer brand assets to attract top talent and differentiate the company from competitors.
    • Implement innovative employer branding initiatives, including employer brand storytelling, employee testimonials, and employer value proposition (EVP) campaigns.
    • Utilize social media platforms, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote the company's employer brand and engage with potential candidates.
    • Monitor and analyze employer brand metrics, including brand perception, candidate feedback, and employee satisfaction, to measure the effectiveness of branding efforts and make data driven decisions.
    • Continuously assess and refine employer brand strategies to align with evolving business goals, market trends, and candidate preferences.
    • Act as a brand ambassador for the company, representing its values, culture, and reputation to external stakeholders, including candidates, industry influencers, and community partners.

    Attraction

    • Utilize innovative and effective sourcing strategies to identify and attract passive candidates through various channels, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and industry partnerships.
    • Management of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management.

    Candidate Screening & Assessment

    • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand specific job requirements and tailor screening criteria accordingly.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive candidate screening processes to identify the best-fit candidates for various roles within the organization.
    • Utilize a variety of screening methods, including resume reviews, phone screenings, and competency-based interviews, to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
    • Implement best practices for candidate assessment, including behavioral interviewing techniques, skills assessments, and psychometric testing, to ensure the selection of candidates who align with the company's values and objectives.
    • Train and mentor recruitment team members on effective screening techniques and ensure consistency in screening processes across all hiring teams.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in candidate assessment to continuously improve and refine screening strategies.
    • Leverage data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of screening methods, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize candidate selection processes.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the candidate screening process.

    Interviewing & Decision Making

    • Lead the development and implementation of effective interviewing processes and techniques to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to design interview questions and scenarios tailored to specific job requirements and organizational needs.
    • Conduct interviews for executive-level, managerial, and specialized positions, utilizing a variety of interview formats, including behavioral, competency-based, and case interviews.
    • Train and coach hiring managers and interview panel members on best practices for conducting fair, unbiased, and legally compliant interviews.
    • Coordinate interview schedules, logistics, and communication with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the interview process.
    • Evaluate candidate responses, behaviors, and performance during interviews to make informed hiring decisions and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
    • Provide constructive feedback to candidates following interviews and maintain ongoing communication throughout the selection process.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in interviewing and candidate assessment to continuously improve interview processes and outcomes.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies governing the interview and selection process.

    Offer Management

    • Lead and oversee the offer management process, ensuring timely and competitive offers are extended to selected candidates.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers, compensation, and HR teams to develop and finalize offer packages that align with candidate expectations, company policies, and budgetary constraints.
    • Negotiate offer terms, including compensation, benefits, relocation assistance, and other incentives, to secure acceptance from top candidates while maintaining internal equity and market competitiveness.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

    Qualifications

    We are looking for a Talent Acquisition expert with the following expertise, experience, skills, and characteristics:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP AIRS are a plus.
    • Proven experience (7+ years) in talent acquisition or recruitment leadership roles, preferably within manufacturing.
    • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes, including branding, attraction, resume screening, interviewing, assessment, interviewing, decision making, offer negotiation & onboarding.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic talent acquisition plans to support organizational growth and business objectives.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Proficiency in utilizing recruitment technology, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other HR software tools.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze recruitment data and metrics to drive process improvements.
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and candidate interactions.
