    Express Employment of Long Beach is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a growing local company in the Long Beach area.

    POSITION – Maintenance Technician
    LOCATION: Long Beach
    RATE: $25 - $40/ hr.

    HOURS: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

    JOB SUMMARY

    As an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician, you will be working hands on with repairing molding machinery, support machinery, and performing preventative maintenance on a regularly scheduled basis.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs of production equipment
    • Perform Maintenance Mechanic activities that may include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, robot, and PLC
    • Read and interpret equipment manuals necessary to perform repairs
    • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test repairs to ensure proper functionality
    • Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, support equipment, and plant facilities
    • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, material handling equipment
    • Detect faulty operations/machinery and report findings to the Maintenance Manager promptly

    QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

    • 5 years of Plastic Injection Mold Machine Repair Experience
    • 2+ years of Machine Maintenance Experience.
    • Strong Knowledge of Automated Systems
    • Knowledge of Mechanics, Electrical circuits, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, PLC, and Robotics
    • 2+ Years in injection molding preferred
    • Knowledge of Natural Gas Generation systems preferred
    • Knowledge of best practices, ordinances, and safety standards by OSHA
