A popular company in the news media industry is looking for a FullStack Engineer for their Plano, TX office. As a FullStack Engineer at this company, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of their digital news platforms. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of their digital products and services. Your responsibilities will encompass both front-end and back-end development tasks, from designing intuitive user interfaces to architecting robust and scalable backend systems. Leveraging your expertise in modern web technologies and frameworks, you will strive to enhance the performance, functionality, and user experience of their digital properties. Additionally, you will be tasked with identifying and implementing innovative solutions to address emerging challenges in the rapidly evolving landscape of digital journalism. As a key member of their engineering team, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on the way millions of users interact with news content every day.

Required Skills & Experience

2 years of experience in frontend development with React (Redux/Hooks)
2 years of experience in PHP/Laravel
Experience within AWS Cloud
Experience with MognoDB
Experience with MySQL

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with bitbuck/Jira is preferred
Experience with unit testing (Enzyme/Jasmine) is a plus
Experience with designing tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) is a plus
Experience with REST API's
