Job DescriptionDirect ReportWheels Program Manager

Principle Responsibilities● With assistants help, train and supervise staff in execution of skateboard and BMX programs
● Direct the set up and takedown of the skateboard and BMX facilities and equipment
● Keep an accurate inventory of supplies and request more as needed in a timely manner
● Oversee the regular maintenance of skating facilities and BMX tracks
● Provide periodic written performance evaluations for direct reports
● Ensure that all paperwork is filled out accurately and timely
● Assist in other wheels programs as needed
● Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
● Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training● Preferred: 21 years of age or older
● Required 1+ yr. leading teams; Prefer 1+ Summit employment
● Preferred: Experience maintaining skateparks and/or BMX tracks
● Can display proficiency in skateboarding and/or BMX
● Good communication and organizational skills
● Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
● Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America
Performance Results● Completes contract period with 2-4 positive experiences with customers
● Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or participants
● Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participant
● Contribute at least one improvement to Skateboarding and/or BMX program(s)
Physical Requirements● Up to 9 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
