    Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Software Engineering Professionals at Ford Motor Company

    We are looking for a highly skilled software engineering professional with expertise in Lean, Agile, and eXtreme Programming (XP) practices. Working closely with a team of engineers, designers, and product owners, you will contribute to the development, validation, and release of cutting-edge software products. This role offers the chance to immerse yourself in enterprise technology, playing a key role in reshaping the future of mobility and enhancing customer experiences worldwide.

    Responsibilities:

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
    • 5+ years of professional software development experience
    • 3+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, JavaScript, or TypeScript

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Extensive software engineering knowledge
    • Proficiency in eXtreme Programming (XP) practices such as paired programming and Test-driven development (TDD)
    • Experience with Spring Cloud and cloud platform deployment
    • Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery tools and pipelines
    • Alerting and Monitoring expertise with various tools
    • Proficient in RESTful API standards
    • Background in Domain Driven Design, CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture, and Event Driven Architecture
    • Experience in front-end web development
    • Familiarity with JavaScript and client-side MVC frameworks
    • Skills in unit testing and mocking frameworks
    • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
    • Experience with Agile methodology
