    Orthopedic Service Line DirectorThe Orthopedic Service Line Director provides vision and leadership for the development of orthopedic programs and services to meet the needs of the community. In a matrixed reporting structure, they provide overall leadership and coordination of all aspects of orthopedic services in the provision of service and quality patient care. This leader is also responsible for daily and overall efficient operation of assigned clinic, including staff performance, patient care processes and outcomes, patient/family satisfaction, and prudent resource management. The manager will develop, execute, and oversee aspects of service delivery, quality assurance, governmental regulations, regulatory compliance, program policies and practices. The position will be hands-on and interact and coordinate with management, staff, and patients.

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Ability to role model Bay Area Hospital Behavioral Standards
    • Understanding of HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.

    • Able to deliver projects on time and within budget
    • Ability to relate to all levels of the user community and translate technical language to lay audiences
    • Ability to be team player that motivates and educates other team members
    • Ability to link and apply complex technologies to business strategies
    • Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

    • Bachelor s degree in health care administration, business or clinical science or related field required
    • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Master s degree in Health/Hospital Administration, Public Health, Nursing or equivalent related field
    • preferred. May be enrolled and complete within 2 years of hire

    EXPERIENCE

    • 3-5 years of recent progressive leadership experience
    • Experience leading large and small groups preferred

    CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
    • BLS
    • BLS (AHA)

    STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
    • Oregon

    Weekend Requirements : Possible
    On Call Requirements : Possible
