    Shift Manager - McDonald's

    This role is crucial to the daily operations at the restaurant because you will:

    • Lead the experience: Manage and supervise crew schedules
    • Inspire and Empower: Provide motivating leadership for crew and managers to ensure an exceptional guest experience
    • Understand that teamwork is crucial: Oversee and enforce food safety and cleanliness protocols to meet McDonald's standards
    • Take action proactively: Implement measures regarding safety, security, inventory, and profitability
    • Never stop learning: Foster and promote training, education, and continuous improvement within the restaurant
    • Be results oriented: Foster and expect a high level of performance from the team

    To excel as a Shift Manager, you will need:

    • Passion for aiding and serving others (customers and team members)
    • Strong customer service and support focus
    • Effective communication skills and ability to anticipate customer needs
    • Problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced setting
    Requirements:

    Managers oversee shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive a prompt, accurate, and friendly service on each visit. Some managers may also manage departments. Responsibilities may include the management of various systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, goal setting, task delegation, follow-up, and result reporting to the team and other managers.

    The Guest Service Department Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of excellent customer experience by the crew and managers, effective execution of sales promotions, comprehensive training of service staff in procedures, and maintaining organized Front Counter McCaf and Drive-Thru areas for optimum service.

    The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the timely delivery of high-quality food to customers, maintains food safety standards, controls food costs, and provides training to kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.

    The People Department Manager ensures the recruitment of qualified crew members, thorough training, and scheduling to meet the restaurant's sales and profit targets, as well as ensuring that crew members have a positive start, receive recognition, and stay motivated throughout their employment.

    Previous managerial experience is preferred, particularly in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting. We seek proactive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy working in the dynamic McDonald's environment.

    Candidates must be at least 18 years old to be a manager at our restaurants.
