- Schedule inspections via database for private provider construction project with appropriate inspector.
- Communicate all relevant information concerning next steps and timelines to the customer.
- Update company database with valid permits and relevant notes.
- Follow up on emails and voicemails in a timely manner
- Follow up on jobs in pending status to ensure the job is being moved forward
- Schedule inspection with or provide notification of inspection to appropriate jurisdiction municipality Building Department of private provider scheduled inspections, call inspectors as necessary to confirm daily schedule.
- Verify valid permits via multiple municipality Building Department websites
- Bilingual applicants strongly preferred (Spanish and English)
- Familiarity with construction inspection terminology and permitting procedures preferred.
- Organized, self-motivated, and work well in a team environment.
- Punctual with appointments and deadlines
- Able to grasp technical concepts and communicate in an effective manner
- Patient but persistent.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent customer service representative skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be able to learn quickly and be able to adapt to an evolving process
- 1+ years of previous field construction experience preferred.
- ICC Permit Technician and other certifications are a bonus.
- High School diploma or equivalent required, College degree is preferred.
