    Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
    Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; Supervise the investment and raising of funds to support the business.
    Develop and coordinate the company's internal control systems to ensure financial efficiency and transparency.

    Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.

    Oversee the preparation and approval of all financial reporting materials and metrics for funding organizations and the board of directors.

    Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.

    Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors.

    Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
    Manage and forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
    A bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) is preferred.

    2+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success in the construction, development, or real estate industries.

    knowledge and understanding of the construction industry, its unique challenges, and financial needs.

    Solid experience in coordinating audit activities and managing reporting, budget development and analysis, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, payroll, and accounting for investments.

    Proficiency in using financial management software.
    Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data, a keen eye for details, and a strong decision-making ability.
