    DEI Project Specialist - reporting to VP of DEI

Join us as a DEI Specialist, where you will be playing a key role in effective project management for our dynamic Disney Entertainment DEI initiatives

    The DEI organization is passionate about creating, leading, and supporting our people and culture inclusion strategies. In collaboration with Segment & Enterprise DEI as well as HR, we provide subject matter expertise on relevant inclusion practices to business leaders and employees to develop, and we cultivate an inclusive work environment where all employees can thrive

    Responsibilities:

    Project and Report Management
    • Help to identify new/updated processes that increase agility and speed
    • Support program management of various People and Culture priorities to ensure completion ex. Professional BERGs, learning programs, events, ongoing DEI projects etc.
    • Work with and on project teams associated with various People and Culture priorities across Disney Entertainment
    • Research DEI standard processes, develop materials reflecting relevant findings and present to varied audiences
    • Prepare quarterly DEI data reports for business unit leaders across Disney Entertainment
    • Have the appropriate level of DEI Center of Excellence knowledge and awareness to address and direct incoming inquiries
    Administration and Coordination
    • Build high quality Power Point decks and reports as needed on priorities
    • Recommend and implement planning and organization standard methodologies that can enhance team's efficiency and effectiveness
    • Collaborate cross functionally to align DEI initiatives with organizational goals
    • Serve as point of contact, oversees and directs daily operations
    • Attend meetings, take notes, contribute to ideation processes and ensure appropriate follow-through on relevant action items discussed
    • Build positive relationships and collaboration across Disney Entertainment DEI, HR teams, Enterprise as well as key business contacts
    • Professional Development: communicate to conference attendees, send conference details
    • Act as technical support for events
    Other:
    • As needed, assist the larger Disney Entertainment DEI team with projects and initiatives. This may include working closely with HRBPs, Employee Relations, People Insights teams and other HR partners

    The hiring range for this position in California is $84,600.00-$103,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
