    Description

    Fox Rothschild LLP is seeking a Patent/Trademark Paralegal with a minimum of six (6) years of experience.

    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file all manner of patent-related documents with the USPTO via EFS-Web and/or Patent Center covering all aspects of and PCT patent prosecution, including but not limited to new utility, provisional, and design patent applications of all kinds, office action responses, Information Disclosure Statements, assignment recordations, responses to pre-examination formality notices, sequence listings, issue fee payments, etc.
  • Prepare and file all manner of PCT documents with WIPO via ePCT.
  • Effect national phase entry of PCT applications via our network for foreign associates or specialized vendors; ensure foreign deadlines are reported to clients and satisfied by agents, including formal document requirements, requests for examination, office action responses, grant formalities, etc.
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, draft correspondence reporting deadlines, responses as filed, sending reminders, etc.
  • Perform on-line research via public access websites, and foreign patent offices.
  • Knowledge of CPi docketing software and IPDAS document production and IDS software a plus.
  • Organize and maintain electronic client files; maintain and manage prior art lists.
  • Complete special projects including assignment, intake, and due diligence projects, as assigned.
  • Perform overall support for all aspects of and foreign patent portfolio management.
  • May perform other duties, as needed.
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in a law firm or in-house legal department experience required.

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

    The salary range for this position applies to the state of Washington. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:
