- Accounting degree, Min 5 years experience.
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency

- Accumulate job cost data from weekly payroll reports, materials, and subcontract billings in order to prepare weekly cost reports for each project
- Maintain all company operating, payroll, savings, and investment banking accounts including deposits, disbursements, and balancing
- Monitor daily cash balances to cover obligations and maximize earnings\
- Prepare monthly cash projection reports
- Complete federal and state payroll tax returns and necessary deposits
- Work with owner and managers to assist with company operation and profitability
- Member of Senior Management team
- Close books by 10th – 12th of month.
- Departmentalized & Consolidated Financial statements by the 15th. Also to include Budget vs. Actual.
- Process and issue all accounts payable Accrue, prepare, and remit appropriate sales taxes due
- Maintain proper levels of General Liability and Workers Compensation insurance
- Maintain employee's personnel files, including all tax forms, insurance records, 401k records, employment and drug test records.
- Assist and review with management employees' health insurance and 401k plans
- Perform fiscal year-end accounting close with CPA
- All Payroll functions
- Verify subcontractors and vendors meet all requirements of the contract agreement prior to any payments
- Maintain accounting records and files on all projects
- Interface with project managers to accurately charge and code invoices to proper job cost and general ledger account
- Thorough knowledge of the Procedure manual
- Keep current / maintain the procedure manual
- Keep current / maintain the employee handbook
- Other duties as assigned
- Sales Tax generation and reporting
- Payroll Job Entry for direct and Indirect expenses
- Classing/ Departing features
- Reconciliation with multiple software
- Current software: QuickBooks Online, Housecall Pro, Google Drive, Teams, Slack
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
