    Quality Assurance Manager - Raleigh, United States - Accentuate Staffing

    Description

    Accentuate Staffing is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join a leading manufacturing company in Raleigh, NC.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement programs for continuous improvement and attainment of quality targets.

    Support New Product Introduction process using advanced quality planning tools.

    Manage customer issue response system to ensure legal obligations are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.

    Monitor quality metrics related to customer satisfaction and recommend actions based on results.

    Lead quality certification activities and ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory standards.

    Manage external and internal audit programs, ensuring compliance and taking corrective action when necessary.

    Lead quality improvement initiatives with component or service providers.

    Ensure proper functioning of assigned quality system elements and provide training as needed.

    Evaluate and make recommendations regarding special projects and quality systems.

    Provide input to annual operating budget and manage against that budget.

    Manage and develop assigned employees, determining staffing and skill requirements.

    Follow ISO 9001 quality policy and procedures, ensuring compliance in area of responsibility.

    Requirements:

    BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

    5+ Years in QA/ Manufacturing Role – Some supervisory experience

    Strong analytical and technical abilities

    Leadership skills with the ability to control work processes

    Structured, organized, and efficient work approach

    Ability to make strategic decisions and take calculated risks

    Direct and authoritative communication style

    Ability to work independently with minimal involvement from others

    Willingness to express opinions and make decisions forcefully

    Difficulty in delegating tasks to others and intense follow-up required

    Exactness and control in managing subordinates
