    Job Description:

    Soliant Health is currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paraprofessional or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in a school setting. This is a contract position that will run from January to May, providing valuable support to our Speech-Language Pathologists. Apply or email for immediate consideration.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the implementation of therapeutic interventions and strategies
    • Work closely with students in both individual and small group settings to support their communication and language development
    • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the overall educational plan
    • Provide feedback to the Speech-Language Pathologist regarding student progress and performance
    • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with communication disorders

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and DisordersSpeech-Language Pathology, or related field
    • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or speech-language pathology assistant in a school setting is preferred
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff
    • Knowledge of relevant assistive technology and resources.

    Contract Details:

    • Duration: January to May
    • Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
