Position Overview:

We are looking for a Payroll and Systems Implementation Analyst who will be instrumental in transitioning our company from our legacy payroll system to a more sophisticated payroll service with better reporting and insight. Following the successful implementation of the payroll system, this individual will support the selection and implementation of a new Accounting (A/R, A/P, GL) system to streamline our financial reporting processes. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, process improvement skills, analytical skills, and baseline accounting knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Implementation and Management: Support the payroll system change, through the implementation and post-launch support. Subsequently, support the Accounting system selection, customization, and rollout to enhance accounting and financial reporting processes.
  
• Payroll and Accounting Operations: Support payroll processes including health insurance deductions, time clock management, vacation requests, and handling escalated payroll issues. Support financial analysis, tax filings, and insurance computations.
  
• Team Collaboration and Support: Serve as a point of contact for time clock requests, pay rate inquiries, and escalated issues from employees and management.
  
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve accounting processes, payroll systems, and financial reporting methods to increase efficiency and accuracy.
